EVERYONE ON THE BIKE

Garda Trentino has an extensive network of cycle pedestrian paths suited to all for relaxing bike trips in the countryside.
The main routes include the Torbole to Sarche path which

winds along the River Sarca among olive groves and vineyards

as far as Lake Toblino. Another popular route is the Ledro

Valley trail from Lake Ledro through picturesque towns, and

the Nago to Rovereto trail meanders over the hills through

little hamlets. And last but not least, the new trail for 2025: the first (2km) stretch in Trentino of the Ciclovia del Garda cycle

trail from Riva del Garda to Sperone, part of a wider network currently under development.

RIVA DEL GARDA
PREGASINA - PUNTA LARICI

A mountain bike route with unforgettable views!

You leave from the centre of Riva del Garda near the ferry dock. Follow the Gardesana main road towards Limone to just before the tunnel where you turn right onto an uphill track which brings you straight onto the Ponale Trail. Continue gradually uphill between tunnels and stretches of trail sheer above Lake Garda on a fairly constant gradient until you come to Tagliata del Ponale. From here on the track is paved and you keep left at the junction
heading towards Pregasina and crossing the bridge over the stream. The gradient gets a bit steeper here and there is a series of bends before you come to the village of Pregasina shortly after the statue Regina Mundi where there is a stunning view over
the lake below. Continue as far as the centre of Pregasina to stop off for refreshments and a break at the Panorama hotel restaurant, a must for a coffee or to enjoy wonderful traditional
cuisine and reward yourself after all the effort. From here it is just a short push uphill (3 km) to Punta Larici, a spur of rock jutting out over Lake Garda where you can see the lake stretching in its
entirety from north to south, a view you simply can’t miss! Go back the way you came to get back to Riva del Garda.

DAL GARDA AL LAGO DI CAVEDINE

A fabulous ride through natural surroundings!

Wherever you start from (Torbole, Arco or Dro), take the cycle path and head north to Ceniga; then take the normal road to

the centre of Dro. Follow directions back onto the cycle path, riding through apple and plum orchards until you get to Fies

power station. From here on there is an increase in the gradient,

nothing to worry about, and you keep going to the end of the
cycle path in Pietramurata. Turn right onto the paved road and keeping right follow the canal: you will soon come to Lake Cavedine. Further ahead you must stop off at Lido Paradise

which offers a kitchen, grill, and a bar for fantastic aperitifs and cocktails. There are also a sunchairs and sunshades hire service, a playground and an area with jacuzzi as well as bike chargers. Continue on your way along the lakeshore on the main road through the fascinating Marocche, a lunar landscape strewn with boulders. At the end of the climb you can freewheel downhill heading right for Dro where you go back the way you came.
